(DALLAS, TX, 3/4/2019) – The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-DFW), a chapter of the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today called on the Denton County Republican Party to cancel a March 6 event featuring John Guandolo, a disgraced ex-FBI agent and anti-Muslim extremist who has peddled conspiracy theories about Islam and Muslims.
CAIR-DFW attorney Dontrey Tatum on Jan. 10 attended the Southeast (Districts 5, 7, 8) town hall meeting held by the Dallas Police Depart to support the Community Police Oversight Board. The purpose of the Community Police Oversight Board is to help Dallas become a safer and more just place to live and work.
