CAIR DFW LOGO color(DALLAS, TEXAS, 1/29/20) – Later today, the Dallas Peace and Justice Center, The Dallas chapter of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP-Dallas), CODEPINK-DFW, Veterans for Peace North Texas, Metroplex Palestine Coalition, Dallas Anti-War Committee, Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL, Palestine Action Committee of Texas (PACT), and the  Texas Chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations in Dallas Fort-Worth (CAIR-DFW) will hold a press conference to respond to the Trump administration’s so called ‘deal of the century’.

comp 1577813433(DALLAS, TEXAS, 1/2/20) – The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-DFW), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today expressed concerns and said it will offer diversity training for staff and managers of a Chicken Express restaurant that initially banned a Muslim worker from wearing an Islamic head scarf, or hijab.

CAIR DFW LOGO color(DALLAS, TEXAS, 1/15/20) – On Friday, January 17, the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-DFW) will join more than a dozen refugee resettlement agencies, faith based groups, civil rights organization, and refugee advocates at a press conference to denounce Governor Abbott’s decision to ban new refugees from Texas and to welcome a Maryland court’s injunction that blocks that decision.
