Dr. Martin Luther King is one of the greatest civil rights icons in U.S. History. From his early life to joining the civil rights movement, meeting Presidents, giving the famous "I Have a Dream Speech," and ending in his martyrdom, Dr. King's life has important lessons for American Muslims today.
The community is encouraged to learn about Dr. King's life and the lessons that today's American Muslims can implement to take on contemporary issues of discrimination, bigotry, and state sponsored oppression at home and worldwide.
